This policy explains how ProxVela protects editorial independence and creates useful, accurate, and transparent technology content.
Editorial independence
Editorial conclusions are based on research, evaluation criteria, testing evidence when available, and reader needs. Advertisers, affiliate partners, vendors, and commission rates do not receive control over ratings, rankings, verdicts, or wording.
Research and sourcing
Writers should consult official documentation, product interfaces, pricing pages, policies, changelogs, support materials, credible technical sources, and competing products. Important factual claims should be attributable to a reliable source or direct observation.
Hands-on testing and evidence
Articles must accurately describe the level of evaluation performed. A product should not be described as hands-on tested unless the team accessed and used it. Screenshots, test conditions, account tiers, dates, devices, and limitations should be documented where they materially affect the conclusion.
Reviews and scoring
Scores follow category-specific criteria. The written analysis must support the numerical rating. Reviewers should identify strengths, weaknesses, ideal users, unsuitable users, pricing concerns, and credible alternatives.
Affiliate and commercial relationships
Affiliate links may be included where useful. The relationship is disclosed clearly and near the recommendation. Editorial staff do not increase scores because a product has a higher commission. Sponsored content, when accepted, must be labeled and visually separated from independent editorial content.
Product access and gifts
Temporary review access, demonstration accounts, or products supplied for evaluation do not guarantee coverage or a positive verdict. Material benefits should be disclosed when relevant. Expensive gifts should be declined or returned where practical.
AI-assisted work
AI tools may assist with organization, transcription, data cleanup, or drafting, but they do not replace verification, original analysis, or editorial responsibility. Unverified AI output must not be published as fact. Final responsibility remains with the ProxVela Editorial Team.
Updates and corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly. Reviews should be revisited when pricing, ownership, security, features, or terms materially change. Minor formatting changes do not require a correction note; material changes should be described when useful to readers.
Conflicts of interest
Anyone contributing to a review should disclose financial, employment, ownership, or close personal relationships that could reasonably affect impartiality. ProxVela may reassign or decline coverage where a conflict cannot be managed.
